We love tea. In our household tea and water are the two main drinks of choice. So when I learned about Adagio Teas, I had to give them a try.
Adagio Teas offers an extensive selection of gourmet, loose leaf and bagged teas, tea blends, ice teas and gift sets for every occasion. They also provide quality tea ware and a few additional pantry items.
Since my very first interaction with Adagio Teas I have been impressed with their customers service, shipping, packaging, and the products themselves.
Website, Shipping and Packaging
Their website, adagio.com, is very well laid out and easy to navigate. I appreciated that their shipping prices and timelines for out of the country shipments were clearly stated. As a Canadian customer it was very important for me. In addition, I liked all the bonus opportunities presented to me at the check out.
My order arrived well before it’s due date, in a well packaged box with Adagio Teas logo on it.
Adagio Teas for the Whole Family.
Since we all love tea, every member of my family got to pick something they may enjoy. We decided to go with several 10-serving sample, loose tea packages and one tea set.
Kids Picks
The kids’ first pick was Rooibos Caramel Tea. They loved that the tea has that sweet caramel smell and gentle caramel taste. To my delight, it was sweet enough that they didn’t use honey to sweeten it.
They also enjoyed Rooibos Jasmine Tea. It was delicious and smooth. A perfect tea to enjoy on a cold winter evening while reading a book or watching TV.
The last pick, and probably the favourite one was Thai Chai Tea. We loved the smoothness of the coconut and the florar aroma of lemongrass. The loose tea looks beautiful and tastes even better.
I have to say, that in our home, we prefer to drink it as latte rather than tea.
And here is my recipe for this wonderful Thai Chai Latte
- 1.5 teaspoon of Adagio Teas Thai Chai Tea
- 1/4 cup of boiling water (100C)
- 1/2 cup of hot milk
- 1/4 cup of milk foam
I steep the tea in 1/4 cup of water as for 3 minutes, add hot milk and stir until well blended. Top it up with milk foam and if you wish, you can sprinkle brown sugar on the top. DELICIOUS!
Decaf for Dad
My husband chose Decaf Strawberry Tea, Decaf Peach Tea, and Decaf Tropical Blend. All teas came in 10-serving, sample pouches.
The first one was Decaf Peach Tea. It was exactly how we expected: peachy aroma when you opened the pouch and a hint of peach in the taste.
We also tried Decaf Strawberry Tea. It has a very gentle, flowery aroma and a delicious berry taste. It was one of my favourites.
The Decaf Tropics Tea was by far my husband’s favourite. It has a sweet and spicy flavour and a bit of a coconut aftertaste. I will definitely be adding this one to my next order.
Body and Soul Set for Mom
This Body and Soul Set includes three beautiful tins of loose tea.
Happy Belly Tea is a great choice to enjoy first thing in the morning. The ingredients, including ginger root and licorice help prepare my stomach for the day. It is delicious and relaxing.
The second one, Throat Therapy Tea, includes several ingredients known to soothe a sore throat. The gentle smell of licorice and sweetness of orange peels are very pleasing when you first open the box. I didn’t have a sore throat when I tried it, but it felt soothing and gentle as I drank it. I can definitely see it as a drink of choice to help heal my sore throat.
Finally, the Tea-Tox Tea. This tea is a great choice for my morning tea on the days when I fast. The smell of peppermint leaves is very uplifting and rejuvenating, while dandelion root and green rooibos tea are great for cleansing. It tastes delicious and it helps me get energized for the day. Definitely a keeper!

Birthday Bonus
We also got a little bonus of Birthday Tea and Aquarius Tea. Both were a big hit in my home. They smell delicious and taste even better. My birthday girl was very excited to have a special tin of her own tea just to herself! A great addition to her birthday present.
Overall, I’m very happy that I learned about Adagio Teas. We are enjoying all of the gourmet teas that we selected and have already started making a wish list for our next purchase.
What is your favourite tea? Do you prefer black tea, green tea or rooibos tea? Or maybe fruit or herbal teas are your thing? I’d love to hear what you think.
Thank you kindly to Adagio Teas for providing me with this wonderful selection of gourmet teas for an honest and unbiased review.
